Rootsetters are an original reggae, dub rock, jam band based out of philadelphia. They set out to illuminate people's minds and stand together for truth, righteousness, and love - bringing the battle to babylon's gates. a unique and refined blend of deep roots, dub, rock, and improvisation is what you will experience at a rs show!

Rootsettaz
Native Maze is a rock band with heavy blends of improvisation, funk, reggae, progressive rock, and jazz. Since forming in 2008, the band has played with many well established bands including Dopapod, Consider The Source, Jimkata, The Mantras, Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad, Perpetual Groove, and more.

Morel brings a rock show with some improvisational detours that can land anywhere from funk to bluegrass.

A native of the Philadelphia area, Max Swan’s earliest forays into music revolved around jazz. Max is a classically-trained saxophonist who has studied under Saturday Night Live band leader Lenny Pickett, and has emerged as an accomplished vocalist and hip hop producer. Max’s unique skillset – coupled with his innate ability to break genre boundaries – has resulted in a distinctive “electrosoul” sound that blends the musicality and improvisational spirit of jazz with elements of 21st Century soul, harmony-rich R&B, and contemporary hip hop.

Crickets & Cicadas (Acoustic Dead Tribute)
The lifelong journey of two songwriter's faithful to their early southern rock and gospel influences, Dan Bell and Melanie Fallon. Embracing bluesy, soulful melodies with beautiful clean chord voicings, they successfully create memorable, emotional songs that are both unique and universal. The likes of Patrick Simmons and early Heart creep into catchy melodic vocals in songs like “Take Me Home” and “Before We Fall,” finding the sweet spot with poignant “Havana” and Allman-esque acoustic ballads like “Storm.”

Mike Frank & Friends is a 4 piece mix of friends/musicians that mix many different influences that include electric/acoustic rock, acoustic rock, reggae, jam, blues, bluegrass, and just about anything else! The sound has been described in local area news publications as "very smooth and experienced". With an original sound that is new and unique, yet comfortably familiar all at the same time.

From storytelling songs, to tasty guitar licks, and three part harmonies, there’s a little bit of something for everyone!

RWC blends many genres together such as Jam Band, Psychedelic Rock, Jazz, Funk, and Hard Rock to appeal to music and art appreciators of all sorts. The set lists vary from show to show but often include free flowing and electric improvisational pieces, original songs, and unique covers of bands such as The Grateful Dead, Phish, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Miles Davis, and many more. Shows always bring audiences into psychedelic splendor as well as getting down into funky and dancing jams, it all depends on the show, the vibe, and the audience.

This is a tight, powerful band with some serious muscle. As influences, they cite The Meters, Tower of Power, Dumpstaphunk, The Isley Brothers, Sly and the Family Stone, but when all is said and done NPF is a home-grown Philly Original.
