Brewed in collaboration with our friends at Boardroom Spirits (Lansdale, PA). This beer is a blend of some aged Ralphius stock with our new stout base, aged in a freshly dumped brandy barrel from Boardroom with all sorts of spices and ingredients (most notably, green, unripe black walnuts) designed to mimic the Italian liqueur, notion - which Boardroom makes a pretty fine rendition of. The showcase here are the walnuts which were crushed whole and aged in the beer. They present an almost sappy-like character overtop the chocolate forward stout base (you've definitely picked thee up out of your yard before, sure you know the smell), which blends ever so nicely with the different baking spices.
