The Outcrops
The Outcrops were named "NJ Band of the Year" ('The Aquarian, 2020) for "three reasons: a work ethic that makes them one of the Dirty Jerz’s hardest-working bands, guitar-playing that fuses the sounds of Duane Allman and Jerry Garcia, and a refreshing fusion of roots, soul, blues, funk, and psychedelic rock that sounds wholly new while comfortably familiar."
They have dug their roots into the music of rock'n'roll, blues, jazz, funk, folk, and soul legends, choosing B-side tunes to put their own spin on. Within their show, they may pay homage to bands such as the Grateful Dead & the Band, or artists such as BB King & Aretha Franklin. Their original music stems from that same soulful soil, ranging from gritty blues to upbeat Americana.
Friday, February 20th (7-10PM)

Muscle Tough
Muscle Tough, Philadelphia’s premier Futuristic Funk Fusion trio, specializes in a heavily improvised blend of modal jazz, funk, and rocking psychedelia.

Blue Wave Ramblers
The Blue Wave Ramblers are an eclectic and somewhat unlikely band of musical brothers that skillfully combines the unique talents of members Billy Dominick (fiddle), Graham Ford (mandolin & guitar), Alan Rigoletto (guitar) and Dave Haneman (bass). With a musical pedigree that includes KRCO, Wheetstone Bridge, Buddha's Kitchen, Barleyjuice, Tom Gala, Tie Dye Hillbilly Dance Party, Pyrenesia and tons more, this group of players delivers high-energy, powerful acoustic music that's not quite bluegrass; not quite rock-n-roll; not quite New Wave—it's "bluewave" and the primitives of this new musical turn are The Blue Wave Ramblers.
